Nice House in a great location! Positive: The location is great, nearby to the train station and in a peaceful neighborhood. The house gave off a authentic Japanese experience especially with the tatami room and futons. The view from the roof was also very nice. The provided facilities were also convenient. We would rent this place again. Negative: There is a washing machine but no dryer and with so many people in our group, there wasn't much space to hang our clothes to dry.

Would stay again!! Excellent value and authentic alternative to a hotel stay. Conveniently located and clean and well eq Positive: Super location for access to trains and simple convenience stores. Perfect for those that don’t like to be in a hotel but still feel “downtown “ Loved the rooftop view! Loved the two levels for a group of two adults and three teenagers. So many toilets! Really comfortable beds on the top floor and option to double the futons on bottom floor were available in the wardrobe. Would be also Perfect for a group on a budget looking to explore Tokyo that doesn’t mind bunking in together though luggage space would become limited. I loved the feel of being in “the suburbs” and seeing the way people in this massive city make use of every space. Negative: The electronic keypad lock required extreme patience and precision and was a bit testing. If you are not in to stairs then this property might not suit especially if you have a lot of luggage! Mirrors and towel hooks in the bathrooms and toilets would be a good addition. The rooftop balcony could use a good clean up and some more comfortable furniture. Taxis have a bit of trouble finding the address sometimes and larger vans can’t get up the tiny streets so best to walk down the hill 100m and book from there.

Functional place but poor upkeep. So-so experience. Positive: Location was great. Near a station. Clean and functional. Negative: While functional, it was pretty old and run down. They obviously didn’t do much to upkeep the place. Not enough utensils. There were only five (not five sets but actually five). chopsticks. Only one of two pots was usable. Five sets of forks and spoons which were pretty old. One of the electric kettles was not working. Light cover was broken. Shower holder at level two was broken. There was washing machine. But no dryer. Only value I see if it was a large group of 8 to 10 people booking this place. One would have gotten a much better value booking other apartments through Air BnB. We had no reference rating at first when we booked. But now that some ratings are out, it seems that our experience is similar to others.

Steep stairs. Positive: It was close to convenience stores, Maretsu supermarket and the train stations. Negative: There's a lot of steep stairs to climb. No dryer. The house needs a deep clean and servicing, restocking.

Great value for money Positive: The position is excellent, the house was very clean, the terrace fantastic and the hosts very helpful. Negative: One of the rooms is with five semi double beds, that the hosts consider that it fits ten people. However, for European standards it is small for such a big group. Six of us slept in that room and there was not so much space to move around because of the suitcases taking most of the free space. The other room has three single futons on a tatami and four of us slept there. If you like sleeping on the floor this was a great room with a big common space in front.
